The customer used the blade one time. Used soap and water to clean it. The next day the blade was so rusted, it was horrible. The description states these IRT's are good for outdoor and cooking uses. Perhaps I got a bad one? I would not recommend this item. ****PLEASE NOTE - THIS BLADE IS MADE OF CARBON STEEL WHICH WILL RUST, WE RECOMMEND THE USE OF A GOOD WATER DISPLACING OIL TO PREVENT RUSTING***** A GOOD WIPE DOWN WITH VEGETABLE OIL WHEN OUTDOORS IS USUALLY ALL IT TAKES TO KEEP YOUR KNIFE FROM BEING 'EATEN' BY NATURES ELEMENTS THANK YOU FOR THE FEEDBACK - JANTZ SUPPLY
